Default Put Merchant NPCs in Every Dungeon Level

Just a thought, why not put merchant npcs in every dungeon's level?

Usually halfway through the dungeon people start throwing away crappy white drops just to make space. A merchant npc in there would help a lot

Very good idea, I happen to trash and salvage things usually in the 2nd level...

We always seems to have no more room in our inventories. Good idea.

Well, that depends, some might say it's a part of the challenge.
I don't know about that, but i agree it's really needed in the long dungeons.
Say, add a merchant to Frostmaw's 3rd level...

My inventory is almost always full by the time I reach the 3th level.

Absolutely /signed. We have to carry around so much shit that it would be good to get rid of the stuff we pick up.

as noble an intention as it is, in terms of "world logic" what merchant would set up shop in a dungeon?

/Signed as most people carry multiple weapons, ID kit, salvage kit, lockpicks, books to fill
Some also carry more than one set of armor

I do however agree here and that it's a choise what you take and how much free space you leave

Do you think GW strictly follows "world logic"? Merchs, collectors, crafters, etc. are already found in the middle of deserts, desolate ruins and mob-infested areas. Why not dungeons?

Well...as much as I personally have asked this very same thing, we have to consider the 'Bot' factor.
There are no other players around to report any bots...and you KNOW they would abuse that.

/signed. I'm actually all for this in every explorable area...it's a pain salvaging everything or having to zone back into a town when you get full.

I find I rarely have troubles with inventory space unless it is a really long dungeon like Frostmaw's or even the Underworld. If you prepare right for a dungeon, you should have more than enough slots open for all the drops, you just need to use Storage for everything you won't need.

However, it would be handy for areas like Frostmaw's and the Underworld where you can go a very long time without finding a Merchant. I'm just glad that the Fissure has a Merchant with the Forgemaster...

Then make it the NPC a drawf ghost! Nothing can harm a ghost and there are bound to be alot of wondering ghosts in the dungeons *cough drawf ghosts*!

The drawfs dug those dungeons, so it makes sense alot of them died in there too. Put those ghosts to work standing next to res shrines.

This has been a "problem" that has been around for ages (Tombs runs, UW trips, etc). But really, it would just help create more gold influx into the game unncessaryily. Inflation = bad.

+1. Although I like the idea and wouldn't mind having it, this guy just summed it up.
